During non-uniform day last Friday, Year 11 students were treated to a tea party before they begin their GCSE exams this week. “Year 11, I wanted to take a moment to wish you all the best of luck. These exams are not the sole measure of your worth or intelligence. They are an opportunity to showcase what you have learned and how you have grown academically. Embrace this chance to demonstrate your true potential and let your hard work shine through.During the exam period, it is normal to feel a mix of nerves and excitement. Remember to stay calm, take deep breaths, and trust in your preparation. Believe in yourself and your abilities, you have all the tools necessary to succeed. While the exams are important, it is essential to maintain a healthy balance in your life. Take breaks, get enough rest, and engage in activities that make you happy and relaxed. Your well-being matters just as much as your academic success, so please prioritise self-care during this time. Finally, I want to remind you that your teachers, parents/guardians, and I are here to support you every step of the way. Don’t hesitate to reach out for guidance or assistance whenever needed. We believe in you and are confident that you will achieve great results.Remember, success is not solely defined by your exam grades, but by the knowledge, skills, and resilience you have developed throughout your educational journey. May you approach your GCSE exams with confidence, determination, and the belief that you can accomplish anything. Wishing you the very best.”Stuart Williams, Principal#catmosecollege #teaparty #GCSEs #goodluck #mentalhealthawarenessweek #Year11 ... See MoreSee Less
