Open Evening 2018

Thank you to everyone who attended our Open Evening on Wednesday 19 September, it was our busiest yet.

The Play That Went Wrong

On Thursday 6 September, 45 students from Years 8-11 travelled to Leicester to watch ‘The Play That Goes Wrong’.

Exceptional GCSE Results

Catmose College is celebrating another year of exceptional GCSE results, with 78.7% of students achieving grade 4 or above (a grade C on the old system) and 58.6% achieving grade 5 (a strong C) or above.

Open Evening

Join us at our Open Evening on Wednesday 19th September. Tours of our outstanding facilities will be provided throughout the evening.

Catmose College Bridge Club

On 22 June the Catmose College Bridge Club were invited to take part in the Stamford Youth Bridge Academy competition.

Varsity Champions

Congratulations to our winning sports teams who have won the Rutland and Melton Varsity Cup for the 4th year in a row.

Amsterdam Performing Arts Tour

In July, 36 students in Years 9 - 12 from Catmose College and Harington School travelled to Amsterdam for a Performing Arts Tour.

Royal Academy of Arts Workshop

A group of Year 9 and 10 students recently took part in a portraiture workshop led by the Royal Academy of Arts, London.

German Exchange

Students in Years 8, 9 & 10 have had a busy week hosting their German exchange partners.

Baking Workshop

Last term 20 students who are studying GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition took part in a baking workshop with local baker Leslie Gadd. 

Duke of Edinburgh's Award Silver Practice Expedition

Congratulations to our Students that took part and successfully completed their Silver practice expedition during 26 – 28 May.

Venice Art Trip

Recently 21 Year 10 art students travelled to Venice, Italy to learn about the art and culture of this beautiful city.

Open Evening 2018

Outstanding History Teacher

Outstanding history teacher, Kate Dodd, was invited to a reception with the Prime Minister at 10 Downing Street in celebration of the positive difference teachers make to the lives of students.

Music Workshop

On Wednesday 18 April a group of Year 8 students took part in a music technology workshop where they learned about DJing and Beatboxing.
