On 22 June the Catmose College Bridge Club were invited to take part in the Stamford Youth Bridge Academy competition. Following months of practice the team felt confident enough to compete and having competed against several other local schools Catmose College won the competition! Students were presented with the Liz Dale Schools’ Bridge Cup, which now has pride of place in the school trophy cabinet.

The Maths team at Catmose College plans to continue its use of Bridge as a teaching tool, as well as continuing to run the extra-curricular Bridge Club. The College will maintain its links with Stamford Bridge Club and would like to thank the local volunteers for mentoring and inspiring students in their new-found love of Bridge.
