Exhibitions & Gallery
The white cube space of the gallery is the jewel in the crown and this public venue can now be hired by artists during college holidays. For more information please contact the Arts Office.
Our themed exhibitions change termly and are curated to reflect both the interests of the general public and the college users. Exhibitions are selling and original works of art are available to purchase through Own Art; this combined with the regularly changing contemporary craft stocked in our shop make excellent reasons to keep popping in.
The busy gallery is used as an education resource during the day however we extend a warm encouragement to the public to visit either during the week 10am-12.30pm & 1.30pm – 5pm or on a Saturday 10am - 1pm.
An eclectic programme of live events will take place in our wonderful 1920s school hall until October 2010, when a brand new college opens.
In the meantime we will continue to programme touring theatre shows through the Rural Touring Scheme, Centre Stage, and an exciting programme of contemporary dance. Our intimate jazz series takes place in the gallery, seating only 60 people, and is a great environment to hear world-class jazz musicians up close, whilst surrounded by our latest exhibition.

Catmose Films is Rutland’s film society and is open to everyone. We welcome Guest members at any screening to enjoy film on the big screen, and encourage those who will regularly attend to join to receive benefits. Films are selected by members and are a blend of both art-house, foreign films as well as the latest mainstream hit.
We aim to link wide ranging mixed media art activities into whats on in the gallery. We also aim to develop your child’s skills, experience and visual language in interesting and challenging ways.
We offer After-school, Saturday and Holiday Art Clubs for young people aged 5 - 11 year olds. If there is nothing suitable here for your child please contact the Arts Office to discuss your needs.
We programme one-day courses for adults held on Saturdays during the year in a range of art forms, from painting, textiles and sculpture, plus a Monday evening Life-Drawing course. If there is something you would to try that is not listed on the workshop page, please speak with the Arts Office.
