Music Scholarship workshop

Musicians from The Royal Corps of Army Music visited Catmose to work with Year 9 and 10 music scholars. Students took part in a workshop involving pBuzzers, as well as competing against each other to improve communication skills by using a range of instruments to create pitches and rhythms.
Students also learnt about what life is like as an army musician. Both of the musicians who visited had performed in the recent coronation of King Charles III and shared various anecdotes about all the places around the world they had been able to visit and perform in, as well as providing details on the different career pathways that are available in the future.
