“The College performance of Macbeth really brought to life what is a difficult Shakespeare play that I have struggled to get to grips with since my own GCSE literature exam. I have watched many versions over the years both on stage and in the cinema, but the students’ performance and the expert direction of the Catmose drama team made this a performance that really resonated with me. I am not alone, our Year 11 literature students who also watched it as part of their own preparation came away enthused and with a deeper understanding of the play which will stand them in good stead when they sit their own exams. My thanks go to Mrs Mitchel and Ms Adams for directing and choreographing the play so expertly well. Our actors and the tech team were an incredibly strong ensemble group who worked fabulously together and really owned their characters.”
