A Week of Sporting Success

It has been an incredible week for our sports teams at Catmose.

Go Wild Elective

Students got to meet some exotic and unusual animals this week as part of their Go Wild Elective. A highlight of the session was meeting the incredibly cute Coati Mundi. It was a fantastic experience for the students to handle some unusual species, all while gaining knowledge about them.

Rutland Poppy Project

We are immensely proud to have supported, and been involved with the Rutland Poppy Project.

The Tempest

Following on from their successful performance of Shakespeare’s The Tempest at the Curve Theatre in Leicester, students in Years 8 – 10 took to the stage

Disability Athletics

Students from Catmose College recently took part in the Disability Athletics Competition.

London Theatre Weekend

The students arrived in London at midday and after lunch in Covent Garden went to see School of Rockat the Gillian Lynne Theatre.

Balloon Debate

On 8 November 2018 Catmose College took part in the balloon debate in Oundle. If you are not sure what a balloon debate is, then read on.

Nepal Expedition

On 11 October 2018, 30 students and 4 teachers left Catmose, heading to Heathrow to embark on a trip to remember to Nepal.

New York and Washington History Trip

On Monday 15 October, 41 Year 11 GCSE history students travelled to New York.

The Duke of Edinburgh's Award Expeditions

Staff and students at Harington School and Catmose College have had a busy few months supporting and organising Bronze, Silver and Gold DofE expeditions.
