Guest Speaker

As part of their current studies, Year 9 students were visited last week by holocaust survivor Martin Stern. Martin, who was just five years old when he was taken to a concentration camp, gave a moving and inspirational speech to our students. After the war Martin moved to the UK to live with relatives. He studied Medicine at Oxford University and worked as a hospital doctor in Leicester for many years. Today, he dedicates his time to sharing his story with groups across the UK, also teaching about other genocides and what it is about the human mind which makes such horrors possible.
