This term, over 600 Catmose and Harington students from years 10 – 12 visited the Apprenticeship and Careers event in the theatre.

The visiting apprenticeship providers of both training and placements were present and these include colleges from Stamford, Brookbsy, Leicester and Loughborough. Uniformed services including the Leicestershire and Rutland Police and Fire and Rescue, and representatives from the RAF and Army Careers were also present.  They were very busy throughout the day talking to students about apprenticeship opportunities and future careers.

Companies from our local area also attended as part of the new Catmose College Business group who want to work with the College, they will support within lessons and subject teachers to bring the world of work into the classroom. This group has been organised with the help and support of the South Lincolnshire Local Enterprise Partnership and our Enterprise Advisor, Jonny Baker. These companies included The Wisteria Hotel with a constant supply of delicious brownies, RPC, Rutland Plastics and Ben Burgess.
