Start of term information

29 August

We look forward to welcoming students back to the College tomorrow, Wednesday 30 August. Period 1, 8.40am – 9.15am, will be spent with form tutors so timetables can be issued and lockers allocated. The College timetable will then commence from period 2 onwards. Please note that students should not put anything into lockers until they have been allocated during period 1.

Year 7 Students should wait on the Hellerup where they will meet their tutors. The rest of the College should go straight to the rooms as allocated on the attached image. You can also download the information by clicking here.

If your child has sport tomorrow we would not anticipate that they will have kit with them, however if you wish to send your child’s kit in with them so they can store it in their lockers you would be welcome to do so.

All students will attend their tutor group during the electives session. Year 7 students will have their photos taken for their ID cards during the morning so the cards can be issued before they go home. Therefore, tomorrow Year 7 students will need to bring a small amount of money to pay for food unless they are bringing a packed lunch. The remainder of the College should use their cards to pay as usual.

The College day will finish at the normal Wednesday time of 2.30pm.

Please note that you will need to access the College site via Barleythorpe due to roadworks in between Lands End Way and Huntmans Drive. If your child can walk in it would be appreciated, as we anticipate that the site will be very busy.
