It has been an incredible week for our sports teams at Catmose.

Our Year 7 badminton teams played this week with the girls team winning all 9 games against Belvoir, John Ferneley and UCC and the boys team winning against UCC and John Ferneley. It has been great to see the improvement in their badminton skills over the term.

The Year 10 boys basketball team played in the Team Leicestershire Finals this week and have successfully made it through to the finals on the 15 February.

In dodgeball our Year 10 teams also competed in the Team Leicestershire Finals, both teams played brilliantly, the boys team were commended for their attitude and effort, leading them to win the spirit of the games trophy.

Our KS4 Volleyball teams also took to the courts this week with matches against Belvoir and John Ferneley.

And on Wednesday, the Year 7 boys basketball travelled to Delisle Academy to compete in their Team Leicestershire Quarter final. After a well fought game Catmose came out as close winners 21-19. On to the semi-finals in term 3 where they look for another strong win.

Well done to all that took part, their efforts are keeping us at the top of the varsity league. Go team Catmose!!
