Congratulations to our Catmose Site Team who won our Staff Step Challenge recently. As part of an initiative to improve staff activity levels and general wellbeing, staff were set the task of trying to complete 10,000 steps every day and organised themselves into teams to compete in the competition.![]()

Join us in congratulating all the talented gymnasts who competed at the National floor and vault competition in Stoke-on-Trent last weekend! Both the U14 and U19 teams secured spots in the final by dominating their regional competition, an outstanding achievement! The U19 team clinched the title of National champions, emerging victorious against nine other schools. Special mention to Year 11 student, Jack, for defending his title and securing the highest score for the second consecutive year in the U19 boys category. We are so proud of all our gymnasts’ dedication and hard work! ![]()

Congratulations to Year 8 students Gerard, Harry, Owen and Charlie, representing the U13 Oakham Rugby team. Along with their teammates, they dominated the field, winning the County Cup in the final against Market Harborough at Melton. Winning all 6 matches without conceding a single try against them. Catmose College is an oversubscribed secondary academy school on Huntsmans Drive in
Oakham, Rutland. The majority of students are drawn from the county town of Oakham and
surrounding villages, although many are attracted from a wider area including Leicestershire
and Melton through parental choice.
