The PTA has an important role to play in the running of the college, they support the college both financially and at a number of activities during the year.
In its time the PTA has raised many thousands of pounds which have been spent on improving equipment and resources to enhance our children’s education and the facilities in college in general. One of our proudest achievements has been to raise £10,000 for a new minibus. The money was raised through events such as discos, quiz nights, car boots, fashion shows, supplying refreshments at college open evenings etc. This is to name but a few!
All parents are automatically members of the PTA and are encouraged to offer support , even if you only have very little time to give occasionally, it is very much appreciated by everyone!
The PTA meet on the first Monday of each month at 6pm at the College (the meetings are NEVER more than 1 hour and are very informal!) so please feel free to come along and meet us! We are a small body of parents who will welcome you gladly! There is no pressure to commit yourselves, you can do as much or as little as you like – we’d love to see you!
