Critics Circle Award winning company Independent Ballet Wales (established 1986) is a dance company that are pushing back the barriers of classical ballet, headed by Artistic Director Darius Williams.

Independent Ballet Wales will presents two evenings of classics, new work, talks, demonstrations, questions and answers. With outstanding classical dancers and expansive choreography, we are very proud to present this well-loved company for their two-night Rutland debut that will be a night to remember.

This will be a unique evening of exceptional dance from a unique ballet company.

World War II hospital drama, full-mask physical theatre, with music and
dance. Suitable for 8 - 80 years!

Vamos Theatre brings together a number of ex-Trestle Theatre members to
create Nursing Lives, a full-mask theatre production alive with visual
inventiveness, evocative music and song, physical theatre and 1940s dance
sequences. The work originates from the true stories of nurses at the
former Worcester Royal Infirmary. At its heart, Nursing Lives is a human
story that celebrates nurses at work and play during the years of World War
II.

Nursing Lives is funny, touching, at times harrowing, but always uplifting
and unforgettable. It is designed to appeal to audiences of all ages.
